FORESTS AND PASTURES |
|
All things are interrelated – you
cannot pick a flower without disturbing a star.
Great, small or even invisible – some things of beauty, others
repellent to the eye – some useful, others apparently useless or
even harmful to us – in the air, the water and on land – simple and
complex – numerous, rare or even under threat of extinction: there
are billions of species living on our planet – and humankind is one
of them.

Each one is closely linked to the next and to the inanimate world by
the invisible threads that form the delicate web of life on Earth. |
